Every cover is made by Paul Sweeney, our head tailor and founder, in our West Yorkshire workroom. Paul started as an apprentice in his uncle's loose cover business, and he's been making covers for over 40 years.
Paul doesn't only make the finest tailored covers — he also teaches people around the world. Through Eeze Covers Academy, his online training site, he shares his methods in over 50 step-by-step video tutorials, covering everything from wing chairs and Chesterfields to curved sofas and sectionals. How does the Copy Cover Service work?
This is the simplest way to transform your sofa — and it might be easier than you think.
If your sofa covers are worn, faded, or just in need of a refresh, you don't need a home visit, a salesperson, or even a tape measure. Simply send us your existing covers. We use them as a template to make you a perfect set of brand-new replacements in the fabric of your choice.
When they arrive back, they'll fit like a glove — because they were made from your actual covers, not a guessed standard pattern.

Will my old covers work as a template?
In most cases, yes — even if they're quite worn. As long as the fabric is reasonably intact and holds its shape, we can work from them. If we need a couple of extra measurements to be certain of the fit, we'll simply ask — it only takes a few minutes.
How much does it cost?
Significantly less than buying a quality replacement sofa — and a fraction of the cost of full re-upholstery. A premium sofa with a hardwood frame and sprung seats costs £2,000–£5,000 or more to replace new. New covers from us typically cost a fraction of that. Why replace something built to last a lifetime when all it needs is new fabric?
Do I need to send all my covers?
Not always. For two identical sofas of different widths, send the smaller sofa's covers plus 2 cushions, and a measurement of the larger sofa. For a sofa and 2 chairs, send one chair's covers plus a measurement of the sofa. If you're not sure, just ask.
Will I get my original covers back?
Not normally. We unpick your old covers to use as patterns, and they rarely go back together. If you'd like them returned anyway, it's £65 per item.

We cover roughly a 150-mile radius of Yorkshire, and will travel nationwide for jobs over £1,300 (making cost, excluding fabric).
3. Measure Your Own
We send you a simple measurement chart. You fill it in at home — around 20–30 minutes — send it back, and we make your covers from it. The best value option, available for basic shaped furniture only. Send us a photo and we'll let you know if yours is suitable.

How much do loose covers cost?
Copy Cover: £650 for a sofa, £450 for a chair. Tailor Made: £850 for a sofa, £650 for a chair. These are our making prices. Fabric is not included. Copy Cover prices include cushions; Tailor Made prices include the home visit, fitting and cushions. You'll need approx. 15–18 metres of fabric for a sofa and 7–9 metres for a chair.
