Why Duresta Furniture Is Worth Preserving
Duresta has been handmaking luxury furniture in Long Eaton since 1938 — over 85 years of British craftsmanship that has earned the brand a place in the very finest homes across the UK and beyond. Here's why Duresta is always worth investing in new covers rather than replacing:
- 85+ years of British luxury craftsmanship — Duresta is one of the most prestigious furniture brands made in the UK today.
- Handmade in Long Eaton — the UK's officially recognised centre of quality upholstery manufacturing, using the finest materials and traditional techniques.
- The embodiment of classic English style — Duresta's designs are constantly evolving but always rooted in quality, elegance and comfort.
- An exceptional investment — Duresta furniture is priced to reflect its quality. New covers protect that investment completely.
- Built to outlast the covers — Duresta frames are engineered to last for generations. The covers wear before the frame ever does.

- Made to measure for your exact Duresta piece — every cover is cut specifically for your model, not a generic fit.
- Premium fabric choices — from classic tweeds and velvets to contemporary plains and weaves. We know what works on Duresta furniture.
- Help choosing fabric — so you can choose with confidence.
- Machine washable options — luxury that's practical for everyday life.
- A fraction of the replacement cost — new Duresta furniture is a significant investment. New covers are not.
- 40 years of specialist expertise — loose covers are all we do.
